Grade 3

Duration: 5:41

We located Beethoven's brain preserved in a jar in an underground laboratory deep in the woods outside of Bonn, Germany. While using electrodes and advanced musicology techniques, we essentially transcribed this show directly from Ludwig's gray matter. Toss in some marching percussion parts, long sustains and saxophones (gasp!) and you have REMIX: The Music of Ludwig van Beethoven. This show features a healthy dose of the 5th Symphony (bum, bum, bum, BUM), the 7th Symphony and the 9th Symphony. There's even a meringue in the closer! Seriously though, this show is great music, blended together in some unusual ways with some unusual styles and the result is music that is familiar, but presented in an unfamiliar way!
