Meet Our Team
Luke McMillan, Owner
Luke McMillan is a renowned composer, arranger, and designer for the marching arts. Writing music professionally since 2005 and full-time since 2015, Luke pushes the envelope to keep small groups modern and competitive. His compositions have been featured by state marching band finalists and medalists, praised for their performer appeal and audience engagement.
David Spruiell, Business Manager
David serves as the Business Manager for Luke McMillan Music Co and has been with the team full-time since 2019. With a Bachelor of Music degree from Hardin-Simmons University and three years of experience as a band director at a small school, David understands the challenges directors face. Dedicated to providing world-class service, he works closely with band directors to help them find high-quality music that ensures their students succeed and thrive in their musical journey.
Randall Himes, Production Manager
Randall joined the team as the Production Manager in 2023 and handles all music adjustments to meet client needs. With two years of band teaching experience in the Dominican Republic and two years at a small school in Texas, Randall brings a diverse perspective to his work. He holds a Music Education degree from the University of Kansas and is an active clinician for small school marching bands. Committed to supporting small school directors and their students, Randall is dedicated to ensuring every group has the best possible musical experience.
